View original imageOn Monday, the 13th, the weather is expected to be mild with temperatures higher than the seasonal average. However, in some regions, the temperature difference between day and night could reach up to 15 degrees Celsius, so extra attention to health is advised.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the morning lows on the 13th are forecast to range from 7 to 13 degrees Celsius, while the daytime highs are expected to be between 15 and 26 degrees Celsius. These temperatures will be similar to or slightly above the seasonal norms (morning lows of 3 to 9 degrees, daytime highs of 15 to 19 degrees).
The expected morning lows in major cities are as follows: ● Seoul: 9°C ● Incheon: 8°C ● Chuncheon: 8°C ● Gangneung: 13°C ● Daejeon: 10°C ● Daegu: 11°C ● Jeonju: 11°C ● Gwangju: 11°C ● Busan: 13°C ● Jeju: 13°C.
Daytime highs are projected to surpass 20 degrees Celsius in many areas: ● Seoul: 26°C ● Incheon: 23°C ● Chuncheon: 25°C ● Gangneung: 18°C ● Daejeon: 26°C ● Daegu: 23°C ● Jeonju: 25°C ● Gwangju: 24°C ● Busan: 20°C ● Jeju: 20°C.
In the central region, clear skies will prevail in the morning, but cloud cover will increase in the afternoon. The southern region is also expected to become overcast around 6 p.m. From early morning to late morning, there may be rainfall in coastal areas of southern Jeollanam-do and the western part of the southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do. On Jeju Island, the rain that started the previous day is expected to subside by the afternoon. The anticipated precipitation is as follows: ● Southern coast of Jeollanam-do: less than 5mm ● Southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do: less than 5mm ● Jeju Island: 5 to 30mm.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain mostly at 'good' to 'moderate' levels. In the morning, the Seoul metropolitan area and other central regions may temporarily experience 'poor' levels, but these are expected to improve to 'moderate' in the afternoon. Other regions are also expected to remain at 'moderate' levels.

In Jeju Island and some other areas, strong winds with instantaneous speeds of around 55 km/h are expected. In the far southern waters of Jeju and the outer eastern waters of the South Sea, there may be gusty winds accompanied by thunder and lightning.
