Hanjin to Exclusively Operate 11st Street Fulfillment Centers... Accelerating E-Commerce Logistics Advancement
Exclusive Operation Contract for Four Logistics Hubs in the Seoul Metropolitan Area
Service Optimization by Integrating 11st Street Data
Hanjin is partnering with 11st Street to strengthen its position in the e-commerce logistics market. By exclusively operating logistics for a major platform with an average of 8.6 million monthly users, Hanjin is expected to accelerate the advancement of its fulfillment business.
On April 7, Hanjin announced that it had signed an agreement with 11st Street to operate logistics services. The contract period is five years. Under this agreement, Hanjin will exclusively manage the facilities, personnel, and automated equipment at four 11st Street fulfillment centers in the Seoul metropolitan area, spanning approximately 86,000 square meters.
This collaboration is a strategic decision aimed at maximizing the business expertise of both companies. Hanjin plans to combine its logistics network with 11st Street’s commerce data to build a fulfillment service infrastructure optimized for market demand.
In particular, through this partnership, Hanjin will directly handle the e-commerce order and delivery data accumulated by 11st Street. By internalizing know-how in managing complex order integration systems, extensive stock keeping units (SKUs), and individualized delivery requirements, Hanjin aims to further enhance its service capabilities.
By securing additional logistics hubs in the metropolitan area, Hanjin seeks to proactively respond to logistics demand. At the same time, it plans to strengthen fulfillment services connected to last-mile delivery, thereby establishing a comprehensive e-commerce logistics value chain. 11st Street, in turn, will entrust operations to Hanjin, a logistics specialist, to improve the reliability of its next-day and same-day delivery services, such as “Shooting Delivery.”
