Craftworks Taphouse Wins Triple Crown at 2026 Korea Alcoholic Beverage Awards, Proving Brewing Expertise
Craftworks Taphouse announced on March 27 that it had achieved the honor of winning three awards at the "2026 Korea Alcoholic Beverage Awards," including the Grand Prize and Top Prize in the Non-Alcoholic category, as well as the Grand Prize in the Craft Ale Beer category.
This year's event saw 260 companies submit a total of 1,118 brands, marking the largest scale ever for a comprehensive alcoholic beverage competition. In particular, at the 2026 Korea Alcoholic Beverage Awards, a fierce competition unfolded for the "Best of 2026," which is given to only four products from each category as the best beer of the year. In this contest, Nonalcoholic Saenghwal was not only awarded the Grand Prize in the Non-Alcoholic category but also proudly secured the top spot among all 449 Grand Prize-winning brands overall.
Nonalcoholic Saenghwal is characterized by its ability to perfectly capture the rich aroma and flavor unique to craft beer, even though it is a non-alcoholic product with an alcohol content of less than 1%. Unlike typical non-alcoholic beers, which are usually made by adding artificial flavors to carbonated drinks, this product undergoes the same fermentation process as genuine craft beer, giving it a clear distinction. It utilizes advanced brewing techniques, applying a restricted fermentation method with special yeast to minimize alcohol production while fully preserving the depth of fermentation flavor.
Recently recognized for its 12-year track record with the Presidential Citation awarded by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Craftworks Taphouse has continued to set new records, achieving a cumulative sales volume of 50 million glasses by handling every step from planning to manufacturing, distribution, and sales in-house with dedicated expertise.
