Korea Productivity Center Signs MOU on Productivity Cooperation with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Economy and Finance

The Korea Productivity Center (KPC) announced that it shared Korea's experience in productivity innovation and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation for productivity improvement and capacity building with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan during the 1st Central Asia Productivity International Forum (CAPP Forum 2026), which was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on March 25 and 26.
The CAPP Forum is an international event established to discuss economic development strategies through productivity improvement in Central Asian countries. Over 200 representatives from the five Central Asian countries and major international organizations attended the event, where KPC was officially invited as Asia's leading productivity institute. Park Sungjoong, Chairman of KPC, delivered the keynote speech and shared Korea's experience in operating a dedicated institution for productivity innovation that has driven the nation's economic growth. He also proposed various forms of international cooperation, including Official Development Assistance (ODA), with Central Asian countries.
During the forum, KPC and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan signed an MOU to cooperate on productivity improvement and capacity building. Through this agreement, they plan to promote cooperation in a wide range of areas, including policy development for productivity, workforce capability enhancement, and strengthening industrial competitiveness.
