On March 23, Mangun-myeon in Muan County announced that it held the "Blue Companion Clean Muan Mangun-myeon Launch Ceremony" at the Mangun-myeon Culture and Welfare Center and officially began environmental clean-up efforts.
The event was attended by over 100 people, including members of the Mangun-myeon Association of Village Leaders, the Saemaul Leaders' Association, the Saemaul Women's Association, as well as members of various organizations and local residents.
The ceremony began with an explanation of its purpose, followed by the reading of a resolution and the chanting of slogans. After the launch ceremony, participants continued environmental clean-up activities around the Nakji Park recreation area.
The "Blue Companion Clean Muan" campaign is an environmental improvement policy that Muan County has been implementing since 2025. This year, the focus is on expanding it into a county-wide movement.
With this launch ceremony, Mangun-myeon plans to continue ongoing environmental clean-up activities based on active resident participation.
