WinHitech Launches Multiple New Products Featuring Advanced Construction Methods
WinHitech has launched new products featuring advanced construction methods to secure growth momentum.
On March 23, WinHitech announced the development and launch of two innovative products: the 'APOLLO BEAM' and the 'Double Confinement Hollow Precast Column (DC Hollow Column).' Both products are designed based on Off-Site Construction (OSC) methods, offering improved construction safety, reduced construction periods, and cost savings simultaneously.
The APOLLO BEAM applies the deck plate method, previously used for slabs, to the formwork beam structure. This product features a self-supporting structure that eliminates the need for welded stirrup reinforcement on beams. As a result, interference between rebars is removed, enhancing worker safety. The use of high-strength materials improves structural efficiency, achieving weight reduction, cost savings, and even decarbonization effects at the same time.
The DC Hollow Column is a product that raises the hollow ratio to the 50-70% range by applying deck plate formwork to the inside of precast concrete (PC) columns. Typically, large columns used in heavy-load structures such as data centers and semiconductor factories are manufactured by dividing 9 to 12-meter members into 2-meter units and connecting them on-site. However, this product can be manufactured in just one or two members, with the hollow section filled with concrete at the site, thereby reducing both construction time and costs.
The company explained that in the construction industry, demand for OSC—which minimizes on-site construction—is steadily increasing due to reasons of safety, cost reduction, and environmental considerations. The APOLLO BEAM responds to off-site construction demands by applying slab-type deck plates to formwork beam structures, while the DC Hollow Column further enhances cost savings by significantly increasing the hollow ratio through the use of deck plates inside hollow PCs.
Since its establishment in 2011, WinHitech has secured a diverse product lineup through continuous technological innovation, including the non-welded, joined TOX Deck, designated as an excellent product by the Public Procurement Service, as well as hollow-core deck, long-span deck, and insulated deck, which have been recognized as construction new technologies by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. In particular, the long-span deck (INFINI DECK), launched in 2022, has been gradually expanding its presence in the market. Recently, in line with the decarbonization trend, the company has also obtained green certification and environmental product declaration certification, focusing on building a sustainable construction ecosystem.
