After visiting the tournament venue and cheering on the participating teams, Mayor Lee also attended the opening ceremony of the 2026 special exhibition, "Together Kickoff, Our Football City Yongin," at Yongin City Museum.
This exhibition was organized to commemorate the founding of Yongin FC as a citizen club and to highlight the development of regional football, from the early days of Korean football through Yongin Football Center to the establishment of Yongin FC.
The exhibition introduces the Yongin Football Center, Yongin FC, and the supporter culture, with an emphasis on the idea that "the citizens are the main actors of the citizen club," aiming to convey the value of the local community formed through football.
About 150 people, including Mayor Lee, the Yongin FC team, supporters, and citizens, attended the opening ceremony.
Mayor Lee and the Yongin FC team toured the exhibition together with citizens, naturally mingling with family visitors and demonstrating Yongin FC's commitment to being a club for the community.
