On the east coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, as well as the northern east coast of North Gyeongsang Province, strong winds with gusts of around 55 km/h (up to 70 km/h in the mountains) are expected through the afternoon of March 20. Swells will also affect the east coast through March 21. High waves may surge forcefully onto the coast and, at times, sweep over rocks, breakwaters, and coastal roads. Precautions should be taken to prevent accidents.
