Narka Expands Nationwide in Ulta Beauty, Driving Global Growth of Hair Makeup
Korean haircare brand "narka" is set to enter the North American market by officially launching in Ulta Beauty, the largest beauty distribution channel in the United States.
narka will first launch on Ulta Beauty's online mall on March 22, followed by simultaneous entry into 595 offline stores across the U.S. starting April 5. Notably, the brand will secure a distribution network spanning 47 out of 52 U.S. states, making this nationwide expansion an unprecedented case among global entries by K-hair brands.
This launch goes beyond simple overseas expansion and is significant for introducing the new category of "Hair Makeup" to the global market in earnest.
Through its entry into Ulta Beauty, narka will release a total of 11 product lines. The full category lineup covers everything from damage care to styling, with a particular focus on delivering a styling experience centered around its signature "Hair Mascara." This product allows for easy management of baby hairs, shine enhancement, and volumizing details, enabling users to achieve high-quality hair styling in a short amount of time.
Additionally, narka will offer exclusive products for Ulta Beauty, including a "No Sebum Mascara" and a "No Sebum Veil Hair Mist" special set. These products were developed under the concept of a "third-generation dry shampoo" that quickly controls oil on the scalp and hair, helping users style their hair neatly without greasiness or white residue.
narka is striving to transform the existing haircare market paradigm by promoting the concept of "Hair Makeup." In particular, by applying the "Core Rebuilding" solution, which cares for not only the hair surface but also the inner cortex structure, the brand delivers fundamental improvement to damaged hair condition while also providing immediate styling effects. This is the core competitive advantage, offering a new hair routine that connects deep care with surface styling.
With this Ulta Beauty launch as a starting point, narka plans to actively expand its brand presence in the North American market. The company intends to strengthen collaborations with global influencers based on the unique sensibility and styling culture of K-beauty, and aims to broaden its distribution network to major e-commerce channels such as Amazon and TikTok Shop in the future.
