On the 17th, the Nonhyeon Police Station in Incheon announced that it had referred a man in his 50s, identified as A, to the prosecution without detention on charges of property damage. A is accused of repeatedly placing body hair on the desk, computer, mouse, and work uniform of his female subordinate, identified as B, at the office of a company in Incheon in September of last year, thereby damaging property. It was also found that he had smeared foreign substances on B's desk and computer mouse.
B filed a complaint against A for violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, violation of the Stalking Punishment Act, insult, and property damage. However, the police dismissed the first three charges and only recognized property damage. It is reported that B is demanding a reinvestigation in response to the police's decision to recognize only the property damage charge.
