Chairman Lee Jae-hyun's Compensation Drops 8.4% to 17.7 Billion Won Last Year
Received 13.8 Billion Won from CJ and 3.9 Billion Won from CJ CheilJedang
Lee Jae-hyun, Chairman of CJ Group, received a total compensation of 17.7 billion won from the holding company and affiliates last year.
According to the annual reports disclosed by CJ and its major affiliates on the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on March 18, Chairman Lee received 13.825 billion won from CJ and 3.918 billion won from CJ CheilJedang, totaling 17.743 billion won in compensation. This amount represents an 8.4% decrease compared to the previous year.
The salary and bonuses received from CJ were set at 4.5 billion won and 9.325 billion won, respectively. Due to poor performance at CJ ENM, he has not been receiving compensation from the company since the first half of 2024.

Regarding Chairman Lee's bonuses, CJ explained, "A short-term incentive of 4.33 billion won was paid in recognition of his leadership in achieving short-term management goals and building the company's core competencies, and a long-term incentive of 4.99 billion won was paid considering the company's business competitiveness and other factors."
