Doosan Enerbility announced on this day that it had signed a contract with a U.S. company to supply 370 MW (megawatts) of steam turbines and generators for power supply to an artificial intelligence (AI) data center. This is the first time the company will supply steam turbines to North America. The company in question is presumed to be xAI, the AI startup founded by Elon Musk. Previously, Doosan Enerbility had also signed a contract to supply 12 gas turbines for the xAI data center.
