Roborock Ranked No. 1 Global Cleaning Robot Brand Last Year with 17.7% Market Share

Global smart home brand Roborock ranked No. 1 among smart cleaning robot brands worldwide in 2025.
According to the "2025 Worldwide Quarterly Smart Cleaning Robot Tracker" released by global market research firm IDC, Roborock secured the top global position in the overall home cleaning robot category—which includes robot vacuum cleaners and robotic lawn mowers—with annual shipments of 5.8 million units and a market share of 17.7%.
In particular, Roborock has maintained its global No. 1 position in the robot vacuum cleaner segment since the third quarter of 2023, and in the second half of last year, it achieved a record-high market share of 27% based on shipment volume. The company also claimed the top spot in robot vacuum cleaner markets in key countries such as South Korea, the United States, and Germany, demonstrating its competitiveness across major markets.
IDC reported that global shipments of home cleaning robots have been rapidly increasing. In 2025, global home cleaning robot shipments reached approximately 32.72 million units, up 20.1% compared to the previous year. Within this, the robot vacuum cleaner category grew by 17.1% year-on-year, leading overall market growth. Under these market conditions, Roborock is seen as leading the market, thanks to its product competitiveness that meets diverse residential environments and user needs, as well as its global brand influence.
IDC forecasts that competition in the global cleaning robot market will intensify, driven by product innovation and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The report anticipates that competition will become even fiercer around AI-based features such as multi-sensor fusion, autonomous decision-making, and spatial recognition.
