Emart Posts 1.5884 Trillion Won in Total Sales for February
Up 21.3% Year-on-Year
Emart announced on the 11th that, on a standalone basis, its total sales in February reached 1.5884 trillion won, up 21.3% from the same month last year. Revenue came to 1.473 trillion won, an increase of 22.1%.
By business division, discount stores posted 1.0194 trillion won in sales, up 20.3%. Traders recorded 380.2 billion won, a 39.9% increase. Specialty stores reported 78.4 billion won, while Emart Everyday posted 110.4 billion won, down 1.1% and 0.8%, respectively, from the previous year.

The cumulative total sales for this year amounted to 3.2837 trillion won, an increase of 3.4% compared to the same period last year. On an accumulated basis, same-store sales growth rates were 3.4% for discount stores, 4.5% for Traders, and 2.5% for Emart Everyday.
