Renault Group Unveils Mid- to Long-Term Strategy... 36 New Models to Launch by 2030
Electrification and Global Expansion
Annual Sales Target of 2 Million Units
Renault Group has unveiled its mid- to long-term blueprint for transitioning to electrification and expanding its global market share. The strategy focuses on strengthening financial stability through the aggressive introduction of new models for each brand and accelerating growth by increasing the utilization of hubs outside Europe.
On March 11, Renault Group announced its new mid- to long-term strategy, the 'futuREady Plan.' Building on the results of its transformation initiative 'Renaulution,' which began in 2021, the company plans to launch a total of 36 new models across its brands, including Renault, Dacia, and Alpine, by 2030. Financially, Renault Group has set goals of achieving an operating margin of 5 to 7 percent of sales and maintaining annual average cash liquidity of at least 1.5 billion euros.
The Renault brand is also aligning with this plan, aiming to introduce 26 new vehicles by 2030 and achieve annual sales of over 2 million units. The company has identified three core drivers: strengthening its position in Europe, electrifying its entire lineup, and reinforcing its presence in global markets.
In the European market, Renault will launch 12 new models and enhance its competitiveness in electric and hybrid vehicles across segments A through D. To support this, the company has unveiled the modular architecture 'RGEV Medium 2.0' platform, which covers segments from B+ to D. This platform features an 800V system, optimizing ultra-fast charging and efficiency.

To strengthen its global market presence, Renault will consolidate the capabilities of its five key hubs—Korea, India, Morocco, Turkey, and Latin America. By launching 14 additional new models outside Europe, Renault plans to achieve half of its annual sales in overseas markets. In addition to the five models previously introduced under the International Game Plan, such as the Grand Koleos, the company will continue to develop customized vehicles through strategic partnerships.
