Duksung Women’s University Holds Donation Ceremonies for Alumnus Han Young Yoon and Professor Yoonshin Nam
Development Fund Donations Unite Alumni and Faculty
Supporting Their Alma Mater Together
Duksung Women's University announced on March 18 that it held two development fund donation ceremonies at Meeting Room 1 of the university headquarters on March 4.

View original imageDuring the event, alumnus Han Young Yoon (Business Administration, Class of 1978) donated 15 million won as a scholarship fund, thereby establishing the Baek Yoon Scholarship, which will provide full tuition support for one year to two students majoring in Business Administration. The donation ceremony was attended by President Jae Hong Min, alumnus Han Young Yoon, Najung Jo, Director of External Public Relations, and professors from the Business Administration department.
Additionally, Yoonshin Nam, Professor of Physical Education, donated 10 million won in scholarship funds raised together with her students to commemorate her retirement. The physical education scholarship fund donation ceremony was attended by the president, the director of external public relations, Professor Nam, and alumna Hyesun Lee, among others.
Alumnus Yoon said, “The memory of the scholarships I received during my school days has guided me to this day. I am happy to fulfill the promise I made to give back someday.”
Professor Nam also remarked, “Looking back on the many years spent with students as a professor in the Department of Physical Education brings deep emotion. I wanted to leave a meaningful memory with my students, which is why I planned this development fund donation.”
