The county announced that a total of 3,860 people participated in 13 training sessions held across 13 towns and villages from February 10 to March 3. This training program was designed to help farmers establish their farming plans for the new year, acquire the latest agricultural technologies, and respond to climate change.
The education focused on rice cultivation techniques and also covered cultivation methods and pest and disease management for major income-generating crops such as peppers, onions, and green onions.
In addition, mandatory training for the Public Direct Payment System, the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, and guidance on using agricultural e-resources were provided to enhance farmers' understanding of agricultural policies and regulations. The county also promoted the agricultural by-product shredding support project to inform farmers about the need to prevent illegal burning and to create a safe farming environment.
To ensure that elderly farmers could easily understand the content, the county produced and distributed educational materials and farming calendars centered around photographs and charts, enabling self-guided use even after the training.
