Sangchul Yu, CEO of HJ Heavy Industries, was appointed as the honorary daily tax office chief at the Central Busan Tax Office in celebration of the 60th Taxpayers' Day.
On March 5, at the appointment ceremony held at the Central Busan Tax Office, CEO Sangchul Yu received the honorary daily chief appointment certificate from Kim Jeonghyeon, head of the Central Busan Tax Office, and carried out related duties.
The National Tax Service annually appoints business leaders or individual entrepreneurs who have become exemplary figures in society as honorary daily tax office chiefs in each region to commemorate Taxpayers' Day. Those appointed as honorary tax office chiefs can act on behalf of the tax office chief for one day.

In January, HJ Heavy Industries announced through a disclosure regarding a 'change of 30% or more in sales or profit structure' that its operating profit for 2025 reached KRW 67 billion, marking an 824.8% increase from the previous year. In response, Meritz Securities released a report forecasting that the company's improved performance will continue, estimating this year's operating profit at KRW 158.9 billion.
