T-Robotics Participates in AW 2026... Unveils In-House Developed Humanoid Robot
Robotics specialist company T-Robotics announced on March 5, 2026, that it participated in the '2026 Smart Factory and Automation Industry Exhibition (AW 2026).' AW 2026, which began on March 4, is being held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, through March 6.
AW 2026 is an industrial automation exhibition that annually attracts key domestic and international manufacturing companies and global buyers. It serves as a venue to see the latest smart factory technologies and robotics trends in one place. Automation based on artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous mobile robots (AMR), and next-generation robot platforms are among the major highlights.
T-Robotics' industrial humanoid 'TR-WORKS' is based on precision control technology accumulated through its large vacuum robot and AMR business. Developed for actual deployment in manufacturing sites, it is designed to easily coordinate processes and collaborative workflows.
The lower section of the humanoid employs an autonomous driving-based mobile platform, enabling integrated operation with multiple robots within a factory. The upper body adopts a multi-joint drive structure, allowing for repetitive tasks and process assistance work. With sensor fusion-based work recognition and an expandable interface structure, the robot can be customized for various industrial environments.
The company notes that logistics automation is expanding beyond simple material transport to process domains such as pick-and-place and bolt fastening based on collaborative robots. In particular, demand is growing for combinations of AMRs and humanoids even for processes that have relied on manual labor due to automation difficulties.
A T-Robotics representative said, "The core of this exhibition is the application of physical AI through collaboration with hardware technology and Korea's top-level AI researchers," adding, "By working with Tomorrow Robotics and the Kyung Hee University research team, we have advanced simulation-based learning capabilities to implement physical AI that can be immediately deployed in the field."
