Commissioner Lim made these remarks while attending the "60th Anniversary Ceremony of the National Tax Service Establishment" held at the Seoul Regional Tax Office on the same day. He said, "We will ensure that taxpayers can experience the best possible tax services right at their fingertips, without ever needing to visit a tax office or even know where it is located."
He went on to say, "We will establish tax justice that citizens desire through a smart tax evasion detection system that accurately identifies only non-compliant taxpayers, allowing honest taxpayers to focus solely on their businesses. Marking the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the National Tax Service, we will ensure a major leap forward in the administration of national taxes."
