The Sangju City Council in North Gyeongsang Province concluded all agenda items submitted at the 6th plenary session of the 237th extraordinary session on March 4, wrapping up ten days of proceedings.
During this extraordinary session, which opened on February 23, the council listened to and questioned major work reports for 2026 from the heads of 37 departments. The council also demanded that major projects reflect the voices of citizens and called for the consideration of policy validity and efficient alternatives.

Chairperson Ahn Kyungsook stated that the 2026 major work report for Sangju City serves as an opportunity to check the status of ongoing initiatives and promote efficient budget execution, adding, "I hope that the executive body will actively review the points of concern and constructive alternatives and reflect them in city administration."
