"Order Tteok-kkochi in 13 Languages"...KT Showcases "Haiodeo" at MWC26
Immersive exhibition with the concept of "A Day in the Life of an Office Worker in Gwanghwamun"
Intuitive ordering, split billing... showcasing "K-dining tech"
KT announced on the 25th that it will showcase its premium table ordering service "Haiodeo" at MWC26, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from March 2 to 5.
Haiodeo is a service that allows customers to place orders and make payments at once through a tablet installed on the store table. Since its launch in May 2023, its adoption has expanded beyond the restaurant industry to a variety of sectors, including hotels, hospitals, postpartum care centers, and leisure facilities.
At this exhibition, KT will offer visitors the experience of directly ordering from a Haiodeo device. The concept is "A Day in the Life of an Office Worker in Gwanghwamun." Visitors will be able to select Tteok-kkochi and yuja ade on the tablet screen and go through the entire payment process. KT explained that it has prepared the service so that global customers can easily place orders without staff assistance, by supporting 13 foreign languages and providing a user interface (UI) that intuitively displays food visuals.
KT also said that AI-based image generation enables instant creation of menu images, while detailed option settings such as vegan and allergy information improve order accuracy. For group visits, customers can also split the bill (Dutch pay) at the table.
KT plans to present the digital ordering environment that is used on a daily basis in Korean stores on the global stage and showcase the competitiveness of K-dining tech.
