Studio Mir Produces New Anime "Vas Ex Machina"...Officially Announced to Premiere on Netflix This October
Global animation production company Studio Mir announced on the 20th that the Netflix animation series "Vas Ex Machina," produced by Studio Mir, will be released worldwide on Netflix on October 6.
On the 18th (Korea time), Netflix officially announced that its new animated series "Vas Ex Machina" is scheduled to be released on October 6. The series is being produced by Korean animation studio Studio Mir.
"Vas Ex Machina" is set in the American West, which has been transformed after the Civil War into a lawless land ruled by outlaws, machines, and supernatural forces, and unfolds around the story of Vas, who fights to protect his family. The series is drawing attention for its anticipated storytelling and direction characteristic of the adult animation genre.
The executive producers include Brian Tyree Henry, LeSean Thomas, Jennifer Wiley Moxley, and Chad Handley. In particular, Brian Tyree Henry is known as a Hollywood actor who has appeared in global box-office hits such as "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and "Bullet Train."
The voice cast is also configured with the global market in mind. Along with Brian Tyree Henry, who also serves as a producer, the series features Janelle Monáe from the film "Hidden Figures," as well as Tati Gabrielle, Cree Summer, Chaske Spencer, Currie Graham, and Starletta DuPois, a lineup of prominent Hollywood actors that is heightening interest in the work.
Studio Mir has produced numerous animated series such as "Devil May Cry," "The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf," and "Voltron: Legendary Defender," which have been released through Netflix. The newly produced "Vas Ex Machina" is expected to join Netflix's extensive lineup of animated titles alongside the Emmy Award-winning "Arcane," "Blue Eye Samurai," "Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft," "Devil May Cry," and the upcoming animated series "Minecraft" and "Clash of Clans."
