View original imageAt this year's show, LG Electronics set up a 1,003-square-meter booth to showcase a wide range of products and solutions, including premium appliances such as Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS) and LG Signature, high-efficiency appliances based on its core appliance component technologies, and LG ThinQ Pro, a building management platform targeting the North American B2B market.
LG Electronics unveiled the "SKS Laundry Solution" for the first time at this exhibition, extending its ultra-premium appliance experience beyond the kitchen into the laundry room. The SKS Laundry Solution features differentiated fabric care technology, an intuitive user experience (UX) based on a 6.8-inch LCD, and sophisticated design that completes the space.
The flagship 29-inch "SKS WashCombo" precisely controls drum rotation speed through deep-learning-based artificial intelligence (AI) control to deliver LG's unique 6-motion washing and drying performance. When combined with a Mini Wash unit at the bottom, it enables separate washing of delicate garments and other items.
The 29-inch "SKS Dryer" can be linked with the combo unit to automatically set the drying mode according to the selected wash cycle, and when the two products are installed together, they create a clean, unified look in the laundry space as if they were a single set.
Reflecting premium appliance trends identified in a survey of North American customers, LG Electronics presented its premium "LG Signature" appliances in three design collections: Iconic, Tailored, and Seamless.
The "Iconic Collection" features a metal exterior accented with gold lines, using metal as the main material, which is the most preferred by North American customers. The "Tailored Collection," designed for customers who value individuality, emphasizes colors such as green and white that harmonize with surrounding interiors. Customers can also choose handle materials and other details according to their tastes.
In a space created in collaboration with Italian luxury furniture brand Poliform, visitors can also experience the "Seamless Collection." With a built-in style that sits flush with furniture lines without protrusions, it blends smoothly with surrounding interior furnishings.
Marking its 10th anniversary this year, LG Signature has been upgraded with AI to enhance performance and ease of use, and its kitchen appliance lineup has been significantly expanded, bringing the total number of products in the range to 10.
In particular, LG has expanded its lineup of cooking-related products such as hoods, cooktops, hood-combination microwave ovens, and wall ovens, reflecting the preferences of customers who want to create not only their kitchens but their entire homes as luxurious and harmonious spaces with a unified design.
LG Electronics also showcased a lineup of high-efficiency appliances enhanced in core performance by "AI Core Tech," which combines the company's key component technologies with AI to control even delicate movements.
The heat pump dryer equipped with a dual inverter heat pump improves drying efficiency while its AI DD motor analyzes fabric type and weight, using precise drum movements to reduce fabric shrinkage.
The Fit & Max refrigerator, which uses zero-clearance hinge technology to improve space efficiency, minimizes the gap between the refrigerator and the wall so it can be installed and used even in narrow spaces. The AI compressor applied to the refrigerator optimizes compressor operation according to usage patterns, reducing power consumption.
Within the exhibition booth, visitors can also experience LG ThinQ Pro, a space management platform for builders. By simply scanning a QR code, products are automatically registered, and the platform supports appliance monitoring by unit, remote after-sales service, energy management, and preemptive fault detection, maximizing convenience and making management easier.
