Sharing Love Through Side Dishes... Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters Sponsors "Gori Love Hearty Table"
23 Million Won Delivered to Support Vulnerable Local Residents
The Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power has stepped up to support vulnerable local residents ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
On the 10th, the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters donated 23 million won in sponsorship funds to the Busan Community Chest of Korea for the "Gori Love Hearty Table" program.
"Gori Love Hearty Table" is a social contribution program of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters that provides side dishes twice a month to households in vulnerable groups in the local community. This sponsorship was carried out during "Impact Week," Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's intensive social contribution period, and carries the meaning of sharing with neighbors for the Lunar New Year holiday.
The event was attended by Lee Sangwook, head of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, Nam Youngkyu, head of External Cooperation, and Park Seonuk, Executive Director of the Busan Community Chest of Korea. Volunteers from the Nuclear Women's Association and members of the Gori volunteer corps prepared holiday food themselves and delivered it to 40 vulnerable households in Gijang-gun.
