Since the program began in 2017, it has supported a total of 3,952 women-owned businesses over nine years, leading to tangible increases in sales.
The recruitment categories are: strengthening brand and marketing (production of promotional videos for social media), and expanding sales channels (entry into TV home shopping).
Under the "Support for Producing Promotional Videos for Social Media" category, a total of 30 companies will be selected, and each company will be supported with the production of a package consisting of one main promotional video (within three minutes) and three short-form videos suitable for social media channels.
Under the "Support for Entry into TV Home Shopping" category, a total of 10 companies will be selected. Companies wishing to enter home shopping will receive 10 million won in broadcasting transmission fees, along with the opportunity to have an SB video for the public home shopping channel produced and broadcast free of charge.
Details and applications are available on the website of the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association or the Integrated Information Portal for Women-Owned Businesses. The application deadline is 11:00 a.m. on February 24.
