As of the end of December 2025, the cumulative number of baby savings accounts opened reached a total of 3,542.
The support is available for babies born between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026, whose families, as of the application date, reside in Goyang City and have completed birth registration within the city.
The application process is simple. From March to December this year, parents can visit the head office or any branch of Goyang Dongbu Saemaeul Geumgo to open an account in the baby’s name and apply for the congratulatory payment, upon which 100,000 won will be provided per child. However, if the allocated budget is exhausted, the project may end earlier than scheduled.
