TS Trillion Wins 14.8 Billion Won Contract for Jeonnam's First AI Data Center Construction Project
TS Trillion announced on the 5th that its subsidiary BBR Company has signed a contract worth a total of 14.8 billion won for the supply and construction of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) power infrastructure in the first data center construction project in Jeollanam-do.
This project is aimed at building an integrated system for power, cooling, and battery infrastructure, which are core elements in data center operations. Through this contract, BBR Company is seen as having once again proven its technological capabilities and execution competence in the field of data center power infrastructure, where it has accumulated extensive experience.
The project will adopt uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and static transfer switches (STS) from Vertiv, a global leader in data center power solutions, and will use AMPACE batteries from CATL, the world's No. 1 company in terms of market share in the ESS sector, as its energy storage system.
This power configuration is optimized for AI and high-density server environments, and is designed not only to prevent power outages and secure power stability, but also to effectively reduce fire risks.
The Jeonnam Data Center will be built with a capacity of 26 MW in Phase 1 and is planned to be expanded to 34 MW in Phase 2. As the first data center in the Jeollanam-do region, it is expected to establish itself as a core regional digital infrastructure that can respond to growing demand for AI, cloud, and public data.
TS Trillion Vice Chairman Park Juhun stated, "This contract is highly meaningful in that we are building the first AI data center as a core regional digital infrastructure in Jeollanam-do," adding, "It is the result of BBR Company being recognized for its differentiated technological capabilities in the AI data center power infrastructure sector."
He added, "We will provide power infrastructure that secures both stability and efficiency throughout the phased construction and expansion process."
TS Trillion also announced that it received a 1.4 billion won down payment, equivalent to 10% of the Goyang Data Center contract, on the 3rd, and that its cumulative orders related to AI data center construction this year alone have reached 47.7 billion won. This far exceeds TS Trillion's projected sales for this year, and BBR Company has set an order target of 100 billion won for 2026.
