Yangju City Launches "Visiting Job Counseling Center"... "Solve Your Job Search Concerns On the Spot"
Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province will operate the "2026 Visiting Job Counseling Center" through November to lower barriers at job search sites and increase citizens' employment success rates.
This program has been prepared for citizens who find it difficult to visit the Job Center due to time and geographical constraints. Professional career counselors will personally visit major apartment complexes and vocational training institutions within the city to provide one-on-one customized counseling as a close-contact support program.
Through the operation of this counseling center, job seekers will be able to receive practical employment support services on the spot in their daily lives, including: connections to private-sector jobs, customized job placement, and information on linked programs offered by the Job Center and the Saeil Center.
In principle, operating hours are from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., but for vocational training institutions and similar organizations, the hours will be flexibly adjusted in advance through consultation according to each institution's characteristics.
An official from Yangju City said, "This program focuses on directly entering citizens' living areas to ease the burden of job searching," adding, "We will continue to strengthen demand-oriented job administration that reflects voices from the field."
