Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education to Fully Support AI and Digital Subscription Services
Supporting Student Growth by Building an AI-Based Personalized Learning Environment
The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education will fully support AI and digital subscription services throughout this year to assist teachers with teaching and learning.
This support will allocate approximately 300 million won out of the 470 million won in incentives secured by being selected as the top office of education in the 2025 Teacher AI Digital Competency Enhancement Training Evaluation.
To reflect actual needs in school settings, this project enhanced fairness and on-site applicability by selecting support tools after conducting a survey of teachers.
The supported tools consist of six types in total: four new services, including Jajakjajak, Quiz& (Quizand), Works AI, and Padlet, and two existing services, Canva and Miricanvas, which are already being provided under existing business agreements.
In particular, this support will be operated in connection with the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education’s Artificial Intelligence Teaching and Learning Platform (AIEP). Teachers can conveniently use the tools without separate registration through a One-Pass login, and by linking them with existing class platforms such as Google Classroom and Naver Whale Class, they will be able to provide differentiated lesson design and real-time feedback tailored to each student’s learning level.
The city office of education expects that this will enable formative assessment and data analysis-based customized classes, thereby facilitating early support for underachieving students and expanding individualized educational opportunities.
This is expected to go beyond the simple introduction of technology and contribute to enhancing educational equity that respects the learning paths of all students.
