With this, the number of complexes in Yongin that have received remodeling project plan approval has increased to five, following ▲Sujichoipmaeul (Donga, Samik, and Punglim) ▲Bowon ▲Dongbu ▲Hanguk in Pungdeokcheon-dong.
This apartment complex was built in 1998, consisting of four buildings with one basement floor and 19 to 20 above-ground floors. It originally comprised 702 households with exclusive areas of 59 and 84 square meters. Since establishing a remodeling housing association in 2020, the complex has been pursuing remodeling through horizontal and annex expansions.
With this project approval, the complex will be transformed into five basement floors and 24 above-ground floors, accommodating 805 households. Through remodeling, the exclusive area of each unit will also increase to 84 and 99 square meters. The additional 103 units will be sold to the general public.
The parking lot will also nearly double, increasing from 532 spaces to 1,075 spaces. Various community amenities, including a sky lounge, sports facilities, and a community care center, will be created within the complex. Construction will be carried out by POSCO E&C.
The complex is conveniently located near Seongbok Station on the Shinbundang subway line, providing excellent access not only to Pangyo New Town but also to the Gangnam area of Seoul. To the north of the complex lies Seongbokcheon Stream, while to the south is Sanghyeon Park.
Meanwhile, there have been three reported actual transactions for this apartment so far this year. The 59-square-meter units were contracted at prices ranging from 683 million to 740 million won, while the 84-square-meter unit was contracted at 857 million won.
