Russian Defense Ministry: "25 Drones Shot Down"
In the southern Russian region of Rostov, a Ukrainian drone attack has resulted in one fatality and caused fires at industrial facilities.
According to reports from the Russian daily Kommersant and others, Governor Yuri Slyusar of Rostov stated on Telegram on January 14 (local time) that a residential building in Rostov-on-Don was hit by a drone attack, resulting in one death and four injuries.

View original imageGovernor Slyusar explained, "Rescue workers found the body of a man who died in a high-rise apartment where a fire broke out due to the drone attack," adding that "among the injured was a four-year-old child."
He also reported that several apartment buildings in Rostov-on-Don were damaged, and that fires broke out at industrial and warehouse facilities in the western part of the city. Rostov serves as a key transportation and logistics hub near Ukraine and is used as a major supply route and operational headquarters for the Russian military.
