Buddhist poems and postfaces were collated based on sources such as the "Korean Buddhist Canon," and new materials, including "Imcheongahwa" held at the Japanese Cabinet Library, have been included to broaden the scope of Kim Si-seup's works.
The collection is composed of poetry, prose, supplementary volumes, additional volumes, and an appendix. Sim Kyungho, Professor Emeritus at Korea University and an authority on Kim Si-seup studies, was responsible for collation, translation, and annotation, thereby enhancing its academic completeness. Explanatory notes have been added to the translations, making the volumes accessible not only to researchers but also to general readers.
