SK AX to Build Next-Generation Information System for NongHyup, Empowering Data Utilization with AI
Launch of the "Next-Generation Mutual Finance Information System" Project
Building Marketing and Data Platforms... AI Data Analysis Portal Also Introduced
On December 23, SK AX announced that it has launched the "Next-Generation Mutual Finance Information System Establishment Project" to help NongHyup strengthen its customer-tailored financial services.
This project targets 1,110 NongHyup and livestock cooperatives nationwide, aiming to digitize business environments by region and industry so that the data can be used for customer management and marketing. In addition, artificial intelligence (AI) will be applied to work systems to ensure that all employees can easily utilize data.
Over the next two years, SK AX will implement: a "marketing platform" that captures customers' real-time interests and behavioral patterns to enable personalized customer management; a "data platform" that enhances data quality, accuracy, and speed; and a business intelligence (BI) portal that allows for easy data exploration, analysis, and utilization.
The marketing platform will analyze customer behavior and interest data, applying an AI-based personalized recommendation feature to proactively suggest financial services tailored to customer needs. This will support the cooperatives' "proactive financial service" model. By introducing a single-view consultation environment where all customer information can be accessed on one screen, the accuracy and speed of consultations on-site are expected to improve.
The core of the data platform is the standardization of terms that previously varied by department or system, and the implementation of a metadata management system that automatically tracks data change histories and impact. With all cooperatives nationwide able to access and use customer information based on unified standards, work efficiency is expected to increase.
The self-service BI feature, where AI performs analyses in response to natural language queries, is also expected to strengthen the cooperatives' customer service capabilities. Regardless of technical proficiency, any employee will be able to easily utilize data, ensuring that all customers receive consistent service.
An SK AX representative stated, "We will segment customer groups, including cooperative members, associate members, and local residents nationwide, and conduct customer analysis based on generative AI. Through this, we expect to enable more sophisticated and systematic customer management and marketing."
SK AX will apply its proprietary AI-based development automation platform, DAVIS, throughout the project. By supporting repetitive tasks such as requirements analysis, data model design, and test automation with AI, the analysis and design period will be shortened, and design change histories and impacts will be tracked in real time, leading to improved development quality.
