Starlight Along the Riverside... Yangsan City Hosts the 3rd Hwangsan Park Light Garden
Light Garden to Illuminate Winter Nights at Hwangsan Park
Yangsan City in Gyeongnam has transformed Hwangsan Park from a place to simply view into a space to linger in, inviting citizens to enjoy the park at night through the Hwangsan Park Light Garden.
To provide a unique nighttime attraction during the winter season, Yangsan City is hosting the 3rd Hwangsan Park Light Garden, which will be open for a total of 74 days from the lighting ceremony on December 19, 2025, until March 2, 2026.
This year’s Light Garden is located at the Central Plaza of Hwangsan Park. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Yangsan’s elevation to city status and the upcoming Year of Visiting Yangsan, the Light Garden will operate daily from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. However, it will be closed during rainy weather for safety reasons.
Lighting installations cover an area of approximately 18,000 square meters. Large sculptures previously used at the 2025 Yangsan Chrysanthemum Festival have been enhanced with LED landscape lighting, achieving both budget savings and resource recycling.
The exhibition features more than 250 illuminated sculptures and trees, as well as floor lighting covering 2,500 square meters, promising a fantastic winter nightscape for citizens and tourists visiting Hwangsan Park.
