The store is located on the second basement floor of the Yeongpoong Bookstore Jonggak Jongno Main Branch and is designed as a new type of integrated wellness cultural space that combines a bookstore and a pharmacy.
OWM Pharmacy plans to open an additional new store at the Yeongpoong Bookstore Bundang Seohyeon Branch in southern Gyeonggi Province in January next year. Both the OWM Pharmacy Jonggak Branch and the Bundang Branch are focused on providing a new customer experience where the emotional well-being offered by the bookstore and the physical health support provided by the pharmacy are naturally connected. The company aims to expand its wellness model, reflecting customer lifestyles and regional characteristics, to further improve accessibility to daily health management.
The OWM Pharmacy Gangnam Branch, which opened for the first time in September, has continued its rapid growth, reaching its break-even point early. According to the pharmacy, this positive market response is the result of its operational approach centered on professionalism and trust, including pharmacist-led personalized curation services, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based health supplement dispensing system, and a lineup of premium private brand products.
The Jonggak Branch also operates curation zones, health measurement zones, and personalized consultation zones based on the same service concept as the Gangnam Branch, helping customers consistently manage their health routines. To enhance customer convenience, the store features a book zone stocked with medical and health-related books tailored to the Yeongpoong Bookstore environment, as well as a rest zone where customers can relax or enjoy reading while visiting the store.
