Lee Byungheon Named One of "10 Best Actors of the Year" by The New York Times
Actor Lee Byungheon has been named one of "The 10 Outstanding Actors in the Best Films of 2025" by The New York Times Magazine.
The New York Times Magazine recently selected 10 actors who delivered the most impressive performances in films in 2025. Alongside Lee Byungheon, the list includes Liam Neeson, Kirsten Dunst, Teyana Taylor, and others.
When asked by the magazine how he portrays primal emotions such as love, hate, joy, and sorrow in his acting, Lee Byungheon replied, "When I act, I don't recall my real life." He added, "To express those emotions accurately, I have to be completely immersed in the story," and explained, "Sometimes during filming, emotions I never even thought of when I first read the script suddenly emerge within me, and it surprises me."
