Dongjak-gu Surpasses 150,000 Subscribers for Text Alert Service
One in Two Adults Subscribed
Survey Event Announced
The number of subscribers to the district administration news text alert service in Dongjak-gu, Seoul (headed by District Mayor Park Ilha) has surpassed 150,000. On December 16, Dongjak-gu announced that the number of subscribers to its text alert service, which provides district news quickly and conveniently, has exceeded 150,000.
The text alert service is the district’s main information delivery channel, sending out messages every Monday that feature selected content closely related to residents’ daily lives, such as major district projects, event schedules, and community updates.
The service has received a great response thanks to its concise expressions tailored to residents’ perspectives, and the subscriber base has steadily grown to now exceed 150,000. Considering that most subscribers are aged 20 or older, this means that one out of every two adults in the district (as of November, the adult population was 330,225) has subscribed.
To commemorate surpassing 150,000 subscribers and to improve service quality, the district will hold a survey event until December 18. Any subscriber to the text alert service can participate by responding to a simple survey via the provided link (https://naver.me/5NMiIpfw).
The district will randomly select 80 respondents to receive a mobile coffee coupon worth 10,000 won, and plans to analyze the survey results to reorganize content around information that garners high resident interest.
