More than 20 people attended the meeting, including Yoo Jeonggeun, Acting Mayor of Yeongju City, heads of relevant departments, members of the Yeongju City Council, members of the Youth Policy Committee, and members of the Youth Policy Council, to share the main contents of the plan.
Taeheung E&C, the agency conducting the service, presented the final plan based on the results of the youth status survey conducted since June and the feedback collected at the interim report meeting. The participants then engaged in in-depth discussions on implementation strategies and action plans.
In particular, the plan specifically outlines customized policies by sector-such as employment, housing, welfare, and culture-that reflect the real needs of local youth. It also includes a phased roadmap to enhance the effectiveness of these policies. This is being evaluated as a mid- to long-term strategy to improve the quality of life for local youth and support their stable settlement in the region.
Based on the results of this service, the city plans to establish a framework for "Yeongju-style youth policy" and actively promote practical policies that young people can truly experience, starting next year.
