Suwon Southern Fire Station Holds Retirement Ceremony on the 9th, Encourages New Beginnings
On December 9, Suwon Southern Fire Station in Gyeonggi Province held a retirement ceremony for the second half of the year, taking time to honor the dedication of firefighters who have devoted themselves to the safety of the community for many years.
About 50 people, including Kim Kisung, Chief of Jiman 119 Safety Center, and Lee Sanggyun, Chief of Homaesil 119 Safety Center, who are retiring, as well as their families and fellow firefighters, attended the ceremony to celebrate the retirees' new beginnings.
The event proceeded with introductions of the retirees' achievements, followed by award presentations and commemorative plaques. Personalized figurines resembling each retiree were also given as surprise gifts.
