The selection focused on foreign tourist city guesthouses and hanok experience accommodations that primarily serve international visitors. The second on-site assessment provided a comprehensive evaluation of accommodation infrastructure, customer service and communication, facility appeal, and compliance with regulations and safety standards.
The Korea Tourism Organization will promote the ten award-winning guesthouses on the integrated tourism platform "Visit Korea." The organization plans to introduce these unique guesthouses to potential international visitors through article-style content translated into eight languages, including English, Chinese, and Japanese.
