View original imageBarun Law LLC (Co-Representative Attorneys Lee Donghoon, Lee Younghee, and Kim Dohyung) carried out a briquette-sharing volunteer activity in collaboration with the public interest corporation Jeong (Chairman Ko Younghan).
According to the legal community on December 10, Barun Law participated in a volunteer event held in Jeonwon Village, Seocho-gu, Seoul, on December 6. More than 70 employees and staff members of Barun Law took part, donating a total of 11,111 briquettes to energy-vulnerable households and personally delivering 3,000 of them to 12 households. Since 2010, Barun Law has held an annual briquette-sharing volunteer event, supporting a cumulative total of 370,311 briquettes.
Barun Law, together with the public interest corporation Jeong, is committed to providing economic support and legal aid to vulnerable groups. In July, they donated 10 million won to Seoul Hyojeong School in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, to improve educational facilities. In May, they donated two air conditioning and heating units worth approximately 16 million won to Hwaseong Vocational Training Prison in Gyeonggi Province. Seoul Hyojeong School, established in September 2017 as an affiliated institution of Hanbit School for the Blind, is the only specialized educational institution in Korea for visually impaired infants and young children, focusing on special education for this group.
Lee Donghoon, Co-Representative Attorney of Barun Law, stated, "We aim to deliver warmth to the marginalized in our society and foster a bright, caring community by practicing sharing that reaches out to our neighbors both physically and emotionally. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility by carrying out public interest projects in a more systematic and effective way, taking care of those in need."
