SSG.com Offers Fixed 7% Grocery Rewards

SSG.com announced on December 9 that it plans to launch a new paid membership program, "SSG Seven Club," focused on grocery shopping, in early January.
The core feature of the new membership is a fixed 7% reward on grocery purchases. This reward is automatically credited as SSG Money when purchasing SSG Delivery (Daytime, Early Morning, Traders) products and can be used on SSG.com. It is also available for use at various Shinsegae Group affiliates, including Emart, Shinsegae Department Store, and Starbucks, as well as other affiliated locations.
Additionally, SSG.com will partner with the domestic online video service (OTT) TVING. The membership will offer content benefits such as K-Content, live broadcasts of professional baseball (KBO League), professional basketball (KBL League), and other sports. These benefits will not be included as a default but will be offered as optional add-ons for customers to choose from.
Other benefits include discount coupons for products on Shinsegae Department Store Mall and Shinsegae Mall.
SSG.com expects the new membership program to accelerate the influx of customers seeking reliable grocery shopping services. From November 29 to December 7, the average daily number of new visitors to SSG.com increased by 120% year-on-year, while the average daily number of visitors rose by 15%.

Lee Myungkeun, Head of Sales at SSG.com, emphasized, "We aim to significantly enhance the perceived benefits by combining overwhelming grocery rewards with OTT services," adding, "We are preparing a variety of additional benefits to further improve customer satisfaction."
