Following the first session held in early August at the Gimpo General Social Welfare Center in Tongjin-eup (Zone 1 - North), additional English camps were conducted for a total of 66 students using a weekend commuter format from November 29 to December 7 at the Lifelong Learning Center in Unyang-dong (Zone 2 - Central) and the Youth Culture Center in Pungmu-dong (Zone 3 - South).
With highly qualified native instructors, students participated in hands-on classes such as cooking classes, treasure hunts, market experiences, rocket making, and eco-bag making, as well as discussion-based classes including sports news subscription and debates, and discussions on global culture and environmental issues.
During the graduation ceremony, students formed teams and confidently showcased their improved foreign language skills by explaining the activities they had completed during the camp in English in front of their parents.
The English camp concluded successfully amid enthusiastic applause from the parents.
The satisfaction scores for participants in Zones 2 and 3 were 96 and 97.75 points, respectively, demonstrating both enjoyment and learning effectiveness. Some students, as in Zone 1, also requested that additional English camps be held in the future.
