Samcheok City and Defense Acquisition Program Administration Sign Win-Win Cooperation Sisterhood Agreement for Revitalizing Local Communities

Samcheok City in Gangwon Province signed a "Win-Win Cooperation Sisterhood Agreement for Revitalizing Local Communities" with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration on December 4.

This sisterhood agreement is part of a collaborative project between local governments and central ministries promoted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. Four officials from Samcheok City, including the Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau and staff from the General Affairs Division, attended the event, along with four representatives from the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, including the Head of the Operations Support Division.

Through this agreement, both organizations agreed to cooperate in various areas, including revitalizing the local economy, expanding exchange and cooperation, and operating joint development programs.

A city official stated, "We expect that this sisterhood agreement will further strengthen our cooperation system with central ministries and lead to tangible results that will invigorate the local economy."
