Song Jooseok, CEO of Kwangdong, Becomes the 27th Honor Society High-Value Donor in Namyangju City
Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) announced on December 4 that Song Jooseok, CEO of Kwangdong Co., Ltd., has joined as the 27th member of the Honor Society.

View original imageThe Honor Society is a group of high-value individual donors to the Community Chest of Korea, consisting of those who have made a one-time donation of at least 100 million won or pledged to donate the same amount within five years. The society aims to promote individual giving and change perceptions about large-scale donations, thereby contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing.
CEO Song Jooseok stated, "I decided to practice sharing in order to grow together with the local community," and added, "I will continue to make ongoing contributions to help neighbors in need."
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply thank CEO Song Jooseok for making such a significant decision for neighbors in need. The city will do its utmost, together with the Welfare Foundation, to enhance recognition for donors and to create a city where sharing circulates in a virtuous cycle."
Won Byungil, CEO of the Namyangju City Welfare Foundation, also commented, "We will operate transparently to ensure that the donor's warm intentions are delivered as hope throughout the community."
