Renault Korea Sells 4,649 Vehicles in November... Begins Exporting 'Polestar 4' from Busan Plant
Renault Korea announced on December 1 that it recorded global sales of 4,649 vehicles in November 2025, with 3,575 units sold domestically and 1,074 units exported.
This month's export figures include approximately 300 units of the Polestar 4, produced under contract at Renault Korea's Busan plant for export to Canada.
Domestic sales in November were led by the mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) Grand Koleos, with 2,403 units sold. Of the Grand Koleos models sold in November, the hybrid E-Tech variant accounted for 2,052 units, representing 85.4% of total sales.
The coupe-style SUV Arkana recorded total sales of 560 units, consisting of 459 units of the gasoline model (1.6 GTe) and 101 units of the hybrid E-Tech model.
The steady-selling SUV QM6 and the mid-size sedan SM6 recorded sales of 601 units and 6 units, respectively, in November. Both models, which debuted in the domestic market in 2016, concluded their sales after more than nine years as of last month.
As of last month, nearly 258,000 units of the QM6 had been sold in the domestic market, while the SM6, known for its distinctive design and diverse powertrains, achieved total domestic sales of approximately 157,000 units.
Renault Korea's exports in November were mostly Renault brand models, including 421 units of the Grand Koleos (exported as the New Renault Koleos) and 349 units of the Arkana. In addition, shipments of 304 units of the Polestar 4, an electric performance SUV from Swedish premium electric vehicle brand Polestar, began heading to Canada.

Earlier this year, Renault Korea's Busan plant underwent a large-scale update of 68 facilities as part of its transition into a future electric vehicle production hub. As a result, the plant is now capable of producing internal combustion, hybrid, and the latest pure electric vehicles on a single mixed production line.
