Gangwon Province Achieves $92.33 Million in Export Consultations at "MEDICA 2025 & Integrated Export Consultation Meeting Inviting Overseas Buyers"
Targeting the Global Medical Market and Expanding International Sales Channels
Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) announced on December 1 that it achieved a total of 1,027 export consultations worth 92.33 million dollars (approximately 136.1 billion won) and promoted contracts worth 32.84 million dollars (approximately 48.4 billion won) through participation in "MEDICA 2025" in Germany, the world’s largest medical device exhibition (November 17-20), and the "2025 Integrated Export Consultation Meeting Inviting Overseas Buyers" held at Oak Valley in Wonju (November 26-27).

View original imageAccording to the province, participation in "MEDICA 2025" in Germany resulted in the largest-ever amount of contracts promoted since its first participation in 2014 (10.09 million dollars). The "2025 Integrated Export Consultation Meeting Inviting Overseas Buyers" also produced tangible results, with contracts promoted amounting to 22.75 million dollars.
The province reaffirmed the global competitiveness of Gangwon's medical device industry through participation in this overseas exhibition and export consultation meeting. By supporting one-on-one matching consultations between local export companies with diverse product lines and overseas buyers, it provided practical opportunities for pioneering new overseas markets and expanding the export base.
