Application Period for Small Business Burden Relief Credit Extended Until December
Usage period also extended until January next year
The Small Enterprise and Market Service announced on November 28 that the application period for the "Small Business Burden Relief Credit" will be extended from the original deadline of November 28 to 6:00 p.m. on December 10.

View original imageThe agency explained that the decision to extend the period was made after comprehensively considering on-site demand and application trends, in order to allow more small business owners to benefit from the credit.
To ensure that small business owners who receive the credit later have sufficient time to use it, the usage deadline will also be extended by one month, from December 31 of this year to January 31 of next year.

The Burden Relief Credit is a digital point-based support fund of up to 500,000 won per person, which can be used by small business owners to pay utility bills, the four major social insurances, and other expenses. As of November 25, approximately 1.5 trillion won had been distributed to about 3.03 million businesses, and it is reported that there is still capacity to provide additional support to about 79,000 more businesses.
