View original imageSokcho City had previously ranked first in the province in the first quarter rapid execution evaluation for 2024 and was selected as an excellent institution in the first half evaluation, securing 100 million KRW in provincial funds (special adjustment grants).
This year, the city was again selected as an excellent institution in the first quarter rapid execution evaluation, securing 40 million KRW in national funds (special grant tax). In addition, it achieved first place in the province in the first half evaluation, earning an additional 500 million KRW in provincial funds.
Sokcho City executed 85.5 billion KRW out of its first quarter rapid execution target of 65.4 billion KRW, and 126.4 billion KRW out of its first half target of 117.5 billion KRW, achieving first place in the province.
Notably, the city achieved the distinction of being ranked first in the province for two consecutive years as of the first quarter, continuing its top performance from 2024.
The rapid execution evaluation is a system designed to ensure the timely allocation and swift execution of budgets, revitalizing the stagnant local economy and providing tangible benefits to citizens' lives.
Sokcho City achieved these results by resolving obstacles to budget execution through close interdepartmental cooperation, focusing on the timely execution of budgets, and maintaining a field-oriented, efficient work process.
